| WARRANTY OF CRAFTSMANSHIP |
| Meticulous care is taken to present you with a quality custom knife to enjoy for years to come. Specifically, BurnKnives warrants the performance of its knives for the lifetime of the original buyer. Approved warranty work will be performed as long as BurnKnives is able to do so. Damage caused by abuse or neglect is not covered. Shrinkage, cracking or other changes in natural materials such as ivory, horn, wood, bone, antler, etc., or oxidation of such materials as steel are not covered. Changes in your knife materials may naturally occur over time and possible repairs need to be discussed on an individual basis. Should you experience any difficulties with your custom knife, please don't hesitate to call or write us. Every effort will be made to resolve the problem. |
| PAYMENT OPTIONS |
| We will gladly accept bank money orders, postal money orders, cashiers checks and personal checks (upon approval only). We also accept good ol' cash, in person only! BurnKnives will also accept small payments for a period up to 8 months on the purchase of a custom knife, with knife being delivered upon final payment. |
| COMMISSIONED WORKS |
| If you would like to consider personally commissioning a specific custom knife of your design or a BurnKnives design for your private collection, please contact Paul "Burn" Panak. Currently, delivery time on confirmed orders is relatively short (approximately 2- 3 months) depending upon the style, materials and embellishments desired. |
| TERMS |
| Each knife is custom made and priced individually. Pictoral profiles of custom knives along with base pricing can be viewed on this web-site. A security deposit is required upon finalized orders (10% - 20%), with the balance due upon completion of the knife. All deposits on custom orders are non refundable. |
| KNIFE MATERIALS |
| Premium 440c stainless steel is most frequently used. Other steels, including custom-patterned Damascus steel and other exotic stainless steels can be considered accoring to specific needs. Fittings include blued steel, Damascus, stainless, mokum, nickel silver and sterling silver. Natural scale materials are preferred for their aesthetic appeal, like 15,000 year old mammoth and bark ivories, pre-ban elephant ivory, mother-of-pearl, stag, white-tailed-deer antler, and most other types of animal horns. Micartas, fiberglass laminates, exotic woods, laminated paua shells, created ivory, created stone, and created pearls may also be considered by the customer. |

It is the responsibility of the buyer, not the seller, to ascertain, and obey, all applicable local, state, federal and international laws in regard to the possession, and use, of any item purchased from BurnKnives. All knives are sold subject to public law 90-351, title III, U.S.D., Section 2511, and any local, state or federal ordinances. Consult your local and state laws before ordering if you are in doubt. Absolutely no sales to minors. By placing an order, the buyer represents that the products ordered will be used in a lawful manner and that the he/she is of legal age. BurnKnives will not be held liable for the misuse of any knife purchased from us or any of its dealers. Also as no product is 100% effective against attack, BurnKnives assumes no responsibility if a knife purchased from us is not effective in preventing bodily injury, dismemberment or death. ANYONE attempting to falsify information or defraud our company in any way, WILL be turned over to the proper authorities. Any attempts at extortion or entrapment will also be met with swift legal action! |
